Dear Folks -

There was an overwhelmingly positive response to affirming the process of Ordinary Life become a part of the Reconciling Ministries Network. The Reconciling Ministries Network is made up of churches, groups - such as Ordinary Life - and individuals who affirm openness and inclusion of all persons. This is especially designed to explicitly include persons who are part of the LBGT community.

You can find out more by going to their website. Click here to do so http://www.rmnetwork.org/newrmn/

There is a page of information about this on the Ordinary Life website. For those in the Houston area who physically attend Ordinary Life there will two more opportunities to sign a form indicating your support of this or concerns about it. For those who "attend" Ordinary Life via the internet, the same form will be posted on the Ordinary Life website with the "comments" section turned on. This way you can show your support of this move or ask questions.

I borrowed the title of this week’s talk from an article by David Brooks -

Moral Bucket List

In following the Gospel of Thomas as a guide to our own growth and healing, we read this week about the moral imperative of finding the “right” path and the risk of losing sight of it because of the culture in which we are immersed.

The complete text of the talk, the presentation slides, and the audio can be found using the links below.

Be well!

Much love,

Bill Kerley
