ORDINARY LIFE - Thoughts and Ideas to Help You Live a Happier Life

Summary for December 20, 2015

Dear Folks -
I called the talk I offered in Ordinary Life this week -
“Trickle-Down Theology"
This is a talk I wrote in response to the shortest of the teachings of Jesus that we have. It gave me a chance to clarity for myself and for any who listen to or read my work my current understanding of where I am in my own religious and spiritual journey. I hope it may motivate you to be clear about your own. If we can learn to be loyal to the “truth” rather than to some “tribal loyalty,” we can contribute to a saner and more peaceful world.
I remind you that Ordinary Life will not meet next week, December 27. On Christmas Eve there will be five services at St. Paul’s. These are at noon, four, six, eight and ten o’clock. The four and six o’clock services are usually the most attended so if you plan to come to one of those please know to be early. Both of these are services of Lessons and Carols and feature the outstanding musicians of St. Paul’s.
I hope that this season of the year is for you and your loved ones and, indeed for our globe, a time for the renewal of pease, hope, love and joy.
