Dear Folks -

In Ordinary Life this week we had guest speaker Dr. Jack Levison. He was in town teaching on Saturday at the Perkins School of Theology. St. Paul’s has a partnership with Perkins and they use classrooms on our campus to hold sessions. Periodically they hold an event called “The Perkins Lay School of Theology.” Dr. Levison was here to speak to that and our senior minister, The Rev. Tommy Williams, had asked Ordinary Life to host this speaker.

There is no text of his talk and no presentation slides. There is an audio and a pdf of the handouts his used. To say he was a “dynamic” speaker is way understating the case. I don’t know when I’ve heard anything quite like it. Check it out for yourself. If you do listen to the audio, be sure to stay tuned to the end. He brings things together in a very relevant manner.
