Dear Ones -
Wow! Jacqui Lewis was outstanding!
I told her on our ride from the airport to her hotel that we would be working her hard. We did. She preached two services, dialogued with me in Ordinary Life and then spent two and a half hours with us on Sunday afternoon. She was powerful in her preaching and instructive and vulnerable in her teaching. It was a great day.
I am grateful to and for the Endowment that made it possible for us to have her and for all the people who put time and energy into managing this event. Thank you!
I am also grateful for the technology that allowed a wider audience to share this experience and that we have recordings to go back and rewatch.
One of the main messages I got from all of our time with her is that bad theology has helped significantly shape the current turmoil we are in culturally. Next week we will continue our effort to both navigate the Sacred Stream.
That’s a very brief summary of this week’s time in Ordinary Life.
Our podcast, “In Between,” can be accessed through the Ordinary Life web site.
