Dear Folks -

The title of the talk I offered in Ordinary Life this week was -

The Most Important Spiritual Teaching Ever

If we do not do the hard work of accessing the parts of ourselves that have been repressed, resisted and denied - all of which is a necessary process in the first half of life, that material can reach up from the darkness of our unconscious, capture us and destroy our lives in one way or another. To me the most important teaching to be found in this Gospel of Thomas is this:

If you bring forth that which is within you,
What you bring forth will save you.
If you fail to bring forth that which is within you,
What you fail to bring forth will destroy you.
