Dear Folks -

In order to register for the webinar with Dr. Jacqui Lewis, click here. She will be with us Saturday, October 17 for much of the day and during Ordinary Life on Sunday, October 18. I was excited when I first heard her two years ago at a Richard Rohr Conference. You will like her and benefit from her energetic teachings. The webinar is free but you will need to register to get the link to the webinar.

The Michael Morwood webinar was recorded. If you missed it or want to see it again, the link to do so is also on the Ordinary Life website. This is right below the invitation.

Many descriptors can be used to describe our time - despair, distrust, doubt, fear, anger are a few that come to mind. As people of faith and hope, this time can provide the perfect crucible for us to learn about, experience and express genuine hope. If theology is faith seeking understanding, what is it that we are seeing understanding for? I am contending that God’s word to us, God’s will for us is what is best for all of us together, what is best for the whole creation. This week in Ordinary Life Holly Hudley and I offered our reflections on this Beatitude - “You are blessed when you care. At the moment of being care-full, you find yourselves being cared for."

That is a very brief summary of our time in Ordinary Life this week.

You can find the text we had in front of us, the presentation slides and the audio version of the talk using the links below.

Also, be aware that we have instituted a weekly podcast. It is called “In Between.” You can access this through the Ordinary Life website.

If you are reading this, I want you to know how grateful I am for and to you.

Be well and much love,

Bill Kerley
