WEEKLY PODCAST | In Between.155

The end of the year is upon us, and today we bask in a few moments of amazement. They are everyday moments, completely unremarkable in that sense, but miraculous nonetheless.

How often do we slow down to witness and revel in life, the many ways it delights us? When we do, we are privy to miracles daily. My dog gave birth to a litter of 9 puppies last week, a process I got to witness and even participate in. Kind of like a doggy doula. It was a truly tender, intimate experience that made me feel in awe of the most universal process of being born. I got to witness a transformation and was given an opportunity to feel awe.

I think, I hope, such moments are available to us all the time every day, and we only need to slow down for them. What amazed you recently? And similarly, what opportunities have you had to indulge in play, in delight?

I hope you take the time to reflect on what moments created awe for you this year. And remember, if you have not registered for the Jan Phillips Event, there is still time to do so. She will be with us January 7-8th at St. Pauls. Click HERE to register.
