Summary of Ordinary Life for January 22, 2023

Dear Ones -
I called what I offered in Ordinary Life this week -
Lost in Wonder, Found in Love
Last week we dwelt on the fact that being present, paying attention, is the first and foundational step in any spiritual life. It is of critical importance in walking the human path. When we are present and open, we are open to many things. One of the first experiences with which we are gifted is that of wonder. Of course, we are open to all that is in the world - all the tragedy and pain. But, the experience of wonder is what enables us to “stay the course” and to witness to both the power and necessity of love for the well being of all who are and all that is.
That’s a brief summary of this week’s time in Ordinary Life.
