Today I get a gentle preview of what I will undergo Friday when I defend my dissertation. Bill asked me several questions about my work, and I thought, “Oh, how much fun this would be if it were more like a conversation than a presentation! Or if someone told me bad jokes halfway through!”

This podcast is “practice” and preview for my work entitled “Ladders in the Sky,” a title inspired by my oldest son. Basically, I want to imagine a world in which we can get free of division and dualism and come together not because we are the same but because we honor difference.
