Out Where the New Begins

Young children don't have much of a conception of time. I remember once

when my daughter was very young - like four or five - and we had been to visit

her grandmother, who at the time was around the age I am now but who seemed

ancient to my daughter and Sabrina wondered, if "Grandmother ever met Jesus."

I assured her that she hadn't. Many people, even after growing up, retain a

childlike or childish understanding of history and religion. I want to read to you a

compilation of actual student bloopers collected by teachers from 8th grade

through college.
