Dear Folks -

I think the Ordinary Life website has the bugs worked out. If you notice something that needs paid attention to, let me know. Also, I remind you to check out Paul Jone’s article on “fact checking.” It is a useful took in doing the work we are doing in trying to gain a “higher truth."

This week’s talk is one about "seeing.” We have in our daily lives many different levels of awareness and perception. The way of seeing we use when, for example, driving a car is absolutely worthless when it comes to doing the spiritual and psychological work of “seeking enlightenment,” being whole or living lives with loving-kindness and compassion. These matters take another kind of “seeing.”

My spiritual teacher is fond of saying, “How you see anything is how you see everything.” Carl Jung said that the fate of the world depends on each of us doing our personal work.

These are the matters I elaborate on in the “life talk” I offered this week in Ordinary Life.

The complete text, the presentation slides (which is where you’ll find the cartoons and optical illusions I refer to in the talk) and audio can be found using the links below.

Be well!

Much love,

Bill Kerley
