The talk I offered in Ordinary Life this week is titled -

Dying, Death and Other Joys of Being Human

One of the ironies of being and becoming “human” is that we must develop an ego, a sense of being a separate self. Unfortunately, over time we come to believe that this “separate self” is who we “really” are and we lose connection with our Source or Ground of Being. Spiritual work, true psychological growth, is about returning to our Source and Ground. The process is referred to by some as “dying before you die."
