Dear Folks -

This week in Ordinary Life I gave a talk which I titled -

“Living With Constant Contradiction - The Path of Paradox"

I continue to get my inspiration for these talks from my readings and reflections on teachings from the relatively recently discovered Gospel of Thomas. The teaching this talk is based on is, to me, one of the most beautiful and powerful in the collection. Correctly read it prompts us to stay current with how we answer three critically important questions: Where are you from? Where are you going? Where are you now?

The talk contains a story from Ghandi’s early life. The story is an example of living artistically.

The talk contains explanations of what is meant by and the difference between the “apophatic" and the “cataphatic" traditions.

We must learn to get our true identity from the vertical and not horizontal dimension.

You’ll find the text of the talk, the presentation slides and audio version using the links below.

Be well and much love,

Bill Kerley
