How can we talk about entanglement logically and still allow it to speak in mysterious whispers?
Logically, entanglement is one of the trickiest phenomena in science. And yet…the core of it is so simple. it is the partial knowledge of another thing (or person or phenomenon) that renders two systems correlated. it is the way in which we are connected to every other thing, a slight overlap between us and the next thing…and the next thing…and the next.
Words do not do justice to the mystery, to the felt experience of entanglement.
HERE is an article to read from the NYT. One of the best lines from it is the opener: “The biggest bar fight in science has been between Albert Einstein and himself.” Even this man, who we have come to call a genius, struggled with concepts both felt and known. Perhaps leaning into the experience of the struggle, leaning into the complex simplicity of mystery is the direction and purpose of being alive.
I don’t know.
But I do know you need to listen to this song because if you listen to the podcast, you’ll be humming it anyway. Stay open to mystery, to being churched and moved and stirred just by being present to the entangled nature of reality.
