Dear Ones -
This week in Ordinary Life, Dr. Jeff McDonald shared with us his understanding of the importance of connections. He began by noting the connection of the United Methodist Church and the cathedral in Truro, where St. Paul's choir had just been in residence. He spoke then of his involvement in the Methodist movement in Laos and ended talking about what is currently going on in the United Methodist Church over the "human sexuality" issue. In order to get the full impact and content of his presentation, please check out the audio and video versions.
I began the time by giving a very brief report on my experience of traveling with the choir. In short, it was a wonderful time and experience. All except for the travel part. Aspects of that were hideous. But, we are all home safe and sound.
Next Sunday, Holly Hudley and I co-teach. The title we're giving to what we want to say is "Take It Easy."
Our podcast, “In Between,” can be accessed through the Ordinary Life web site.
