Summary of Ordinary Life for September 11, 2022

Dear Ones -

Once again there is some significant deviation from the text I had in front of me and the talk given in Ordinary Life this week. The title I gave it is -

Traction, Transcendence, and a Place to Stand

The talk begins with some “ground rules” and “essential equipment” needed for the new theme we are undertaking - Making Sacred the Already Sacred Journey. These things include: being present; the core values of love, honesty, and freedom; and a working awareness of “non-duality.”

As we go along, our hope/goal is to become more conscious, let go of the chatter in our heads, be more open to new ideas, and take off our “ego-masks.”

Then, I introduce the Grain Story as taught to me by Robert Johnson.

We are not so much to have answers as we are to be “answering people.”

That’s a brief summary of the talk.
