Dear Ones -

This Saturday evening, September 24 - there is an Ordinary Life Happy Hour. Details, including a map, are on the Ordinary Life website. Click here.

Also, please save the date of Sunday, October 9, for an Ordinary Life Luncheon. This will immediately follow class time. There is no charge for this and the purpose is to offer an opportunity for attendees to get to meet and know each other in deeper and better ways.

You can prepare for Jan Phillips time with us January 7th and 8th by reading her autobiography, “Still On Fire.” You can also watch a YouTube video that will let you have an experience of her energy and wisdom. Click here to be taken there.

This week in Ordinary Life I based my teaching on The Grail myth. Last week’s teaching got a lot of response and this week’s is both an effort to respond to that and to continue amplifying on the myth seeking for applications to our current lives and living.

Myths, whether we are aware of them or not, guide and influence us through life. One of the things this story underscores is the importance of our knowing our initial bonding experiences in life, the behaviors we were exposed to, and the sea of beliefs we were immersed in. Further, our journey is aided by the quality of questions we ask of life and that life asks of us.

I frequently get asked questions about “non-duality.” Non-duality can be hinted at by knowing that we are on a journey to where we already are.

Further, the journey to making sacred the already-sacred journey is not a religious one. Ironically, both Jesus and his message have been buried in the concepts, dogmas, and rituals that have been created to communicate both him and his message.

That’s a brief summary of the talk.
