Dear Folks -

This past weekend was a dream come true for me. Sister Dr. Ilia Delio spoke to a sold out crowd on Saturday and to an even larger attendance on Sunday. The theme of her talk on Saturday was “Compassion and Quantum Entanglement: A New Common Good.” We do not have permission to post a recording of that talk. On Sunday her talk was “Technology and Human Becoming.” We do have permission to post that and you will find it below.

Several people mentioned that they would like to have copies of her overheads for further study. These are copyrighted. What I have found out is that if you go to her website, http://www.omegacenter.info/ilia-delio/, you can find videos and CDs that are available that contain these.

When I went to that website what I learned is that she is not taking any more speaking engagements for the foreseeable future. She told me that she receives over a hundred invitations a year to speak and accepts only eighteen. We were most fortunate.

Thanks to everyone who made this event such a success. Thanks to Brooke Sommers-Perry with the Hines Center for Spirituality who co-sponsored the event; to Pam Pool who headed up an outstanding committee - Cynthia Dyer, Frieda Hale, Janette Zercher, and Lynn Schroth - and the volunteers they recruited. Also, a huge thanks to Tim Leatherwood for the masterful job handling logistics and technical matters and Kelsey Johnson and Jessica Lara on the St. Paul’s staff for managing all the details about marketing and registration for this event. Bravo to you all.

Ordinary Life will resume our regular schedule this coming Sunday. The title of my talk is -

Missing the God Who Misses Us

Or,

This is NOTHING Like What I Expected But WAY More Than I Had Hoped For

Have a good Thanksgiving and I hope to see you in Ordinary Life next week

Be well and much love,

Bill Kerley
