ORDINARY LIFE - Thoughts and Ideas to Help You Live a Happier Life

Dear Folks -
I stole a line from a poem of Hafez to use as the title of the talk I offered in Ordinary Life this week:
Dropping Keys for Beautiful, Rowdy Prisoners
We have a lot of prisoners in our culture. Some are locked tightly in small dualistic beliefs. These small-minded folks can sometimes, usually without even being aware of it, be mean-spirited and say and do hurtful things. Others are imprisoned in an unjust system that does not give them free and fair access to resources and opportunities other, luckier, folks have.
Those who have even the tiniest hint of freedom, light, love, tenderness and compassion have a moral obligation, I believe, to drop keys for these folks in ways that lead to their liberation.
As you know, I’ve been basing the talk in Ordinary Life on teachings found in the Gospel of Thomas. The text this talk is based on is, perhaps, the most important in the entire collection.
That’s a brief summary of the talk I offered this week in Ordinary Life. You can read the text from which I spoke, view the presentations slides and download the audio version of the talk using the links below.
Be well and much love,
Bill Kerley
