Dear Folks -
In Ordinary Life this week I gave a brief overview of the current theme and “series” Holly Hudley and I are co-teaching. The theme is “Seeking and Living an Adult Faith: Growing in Wisdom and Understanding.” Then, we turned our attention to the first broad area we want to deal with - the damage done to mature faith development by the history and power of patriarchy. If you watched the live stream, you know that I had brought the wrong presentation slides. The correct ones are now on the website. The text that you will find there is not a complete text but one that reflects the notes we had in front of us as we spoke. Hope you find it helpful. The audio version is somewhat different. That is a very brief summary of what Holly and I talked about in Ordinary Life this week.
I am so grateful to our being able to continue to meet for Ordinary Life even if it is in a virtual setting. I miss seeing you face-to-face.
Holly Hudley and I will continue to co-teach and we will shape our conversations to fit and needs and concerns of our present context.
