Dear Folks -

The link to register for the webinar with John Tucker, author of “Zero Theology,” is now available. Click here.  I strongly encourage you to purchase his book and read it by March 9. Reading it will stretch and challenge you. However, the content of the book is an indication of the “theology of the future.”

How can we practice integrity and wholeness in this time of such incredible fragmentation and disinformation? I contend, using Marcus Borg’s model, that we must enter into post-critical naiveté , and embrace the stories and rituals provided by our tradition. Holly, shows how the role of deconstruction enables us to create the space that the “new” requires. The fact is that in this universe there is no such thing as an individual apart from her or his relationships. Crises have caused people to cross boundaries and barriers in the past in order to create and/or preserve community. Can they now? The fact is that we have the opportunity to practice wholeness and integrity every time we meet another human being.

That is a very brief summary of our time in Ordinary Life this week. This is one of those weeks where the text and the audio are different and where viewing the presentation slides is helpful.

You can find the text we had in front of us, the presentation slides and the audio version of the talk using the links below.

Also, be aware that we have instituted a weekly podcast. It is called “In Between.” You can access this through the Ordinary Life website.

If you are reading this, I want you to know how grateful I am for and to you.

Be well and much love,

Bill Kerley
