Before we started, Bill and I agreed that we felt distracted, busy, and a little dry on content. But we apparently had no issue filling the “dry well” with conversations about what it means to be in community and how to repair when communities inevitably cause harm, either to an insider or an outsider. We also talked about the growing movement of those who identify as “spiritual but not religious” and wondered how they find — or define — a spiritual community that supports their values.
Bill says in the end, “Well, we might have left a lot of people scratching their heads about this one.” May, maybe not. Either way, what are your ideas about community, and have you been part of a community that heals after conflict?
Thanks for listening!
